On the face of it, our human body looks pretty ordinary. The reality is that innumerable and unbelievable complex reactions are going on in our body at all times. Things like growing and aging seem so obvious and unavoidable for all of us. However, the truth is that the process of human growth and aging is not inevitable an unavoidable.
Our knowledge of the human body has revealed to us that growth and aging is the result of release of hormones by the glands existing in the human body. The pituitary gland in the human body releases human growth hormone that is absorbed by organs like the liver. This hormone is the driving force behind the growth that takes place in the human body. If your pituitary gland does not release the human growth hormone in adequate quantity, it will result in stunted growth. On the other hand, if the human growth hormone is released in excess, one gets to see unnatural growth. Abnormal release of human growth hormone is the reason why we get to see people who are very tall or very short.
The human growth hormone is released in large quantities during childhood. As one reaches adulthood, the gland goes on releasing less and less growth hormone. By the time we reach old age, the release of human growth hormone completely stops. Often we witness old people facing problems of wrinkles, loss of memory, slow healing of injuries, malfunctioning of vital organs, reduction in bone density and loss of hair. The reason behind all these problems is the non-secretion of human growth hormone in the body.
Such a discovery has led to the belief that injecting human growth hormone in the body will help us avoid the inevitable process of aging. The reality is that intake of human growth hormone will result in longer and healthier life. That does not mean human growth hormone is an elixir that will permanently stave off aging.
Although human growth hormone therapy is still in the nascent stage, the results of the therapy are very encouraging. External and artificial injection of human growth hormone in the body results in loss of fat and increase in the muscle and bone density. Such a person feels stronger. Injecting human growth hormone results in the person feeling more energetic.
An improvement in the general health and memory makes a person more confident. More often than not, the problem with aging is the loss of confidence. If you cannot see and hear properly, if your injuries take a long time to heal and if you are forced to depend on others for your protection, it leads to loss of confidence in oneself. Human growth hormone can ensure that the loss of self-confidence that accompanies aging can be avoided.
